📢 FENAFLORESTA integra o SMURF – The forest owners’ project
Este projeto, financiado pela União Europeia, está focado no desenvolvimento de soluções sustentáveis e rentáveis para pequenas explorações florestais.
Através de um modelo de financiamento em cascata, o SMURF apoia organizações no terreno com recursos concretos para desenvolver soluções inovadoras e adaptadas à realidade das florestas de minifúndio.
O objetivo é claro: garantir que os decisores políticos europeus reconheçam os desafios e o valor das pequenas florestas nas políticas futuras da UE.
Na primeira fase de candidaturas, foram selecionadas 40 organizações de 17 países europeus, incluindo 4 entidades portuguesas.
O SMURF é um consórcio de 8 parceiros europeus e é coordenado pelo Cesefor. Portugal está representado pelo Instituto Politécnico de Bragança.

📢 FENAFLORESTA joins SMURF – The Forest Owners’ Project
This project, funded by the European Union, focuses on developing sustainable and profitable solutions for small forest farms.
Through a cascading funding model, SMURF supports organizations on the ground with concrete resources to develop innovative solutions adapted to the reality of smallholding forests.
The objective is clear: to ensure that European policymakers recognize the challenges and value of small forests in future EU policies.
In the first application phase, 40 organizations from 17 European countries were selected, including 4 Portuguese entities.
SMURF is a consortium of 8 European partners and is coordinated by Cesefor. Portugal is represented by the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança.
